Google just recently released a new $249 Chromebook from Samsung.

As a Chromebook owner, I must say these things are fun as hell to use, but don't expect to do too much with them (at least not yet) as they're pretty limited.

So right now they're for social networking, document editing, web video, video chats, music and more.

And they're not for music production, video editing, photo editing and other resource intensive stuff (though it does have apps for these things, they don't beat the popular options).

They make great companion devices though (especially when Windows or Mac OS starts to lag like crazy and you just want to type up a blog post).
